1. Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Job Summary

COO as an important member of the Executive Management Team shall have to lead change towards developing life and livelihood skills of rural Indians. COO shall be responsible in advancing the organizational mission; shall be working with the Board to shape the organization’s strategic plan; translate strategic plans into operational plans; build relationships between all key stakeholders and represent the organization externally; identifying and pursuing growth opportunities; developing and implementing donor programs; managing resources; setting appropriate goals and metrics for measuring performance; and provide executive leadership towards ensuring its mission, programs, and services are true and honest to the organization’s values and objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of having led a medium size national level charities/ NGO’s / academia / social development organizations which has national and global partners.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior leadership position(s).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to champion change and inspire, motivate and successfully lead a diverse team.
  • A Master’s Degree in development economics or other relevant social science. A doctoral degree in relevant field is a plus.
2. Program Development Specialist (PDS)

Job Summary

PDS as a member of organization operational strategy team shall be responsible for developing innovative plans and program for developing field implementable projects. PDS shall identify, carry research, conduct program life cycle analysis, and develop project concepts, presentations and submissions for positioning LSLSI for various bids and opportunities and conveying LSLSI’s case for support through written proposals.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Five years experience in preparing proposals with thorough understanding of the social sector dynamics. Skills and Rural Development sectoral knowledge is a plus. Development Agency experiences are a plus
  • Effective analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Well versed in computer applications with strong web research skills.
  • A Bachelor degree or an MBA with emphasis on communications and Technical Writing. A doctoral degree in relevant social sector field is a plus.
3. Executive Assistant (EA)

Job Summary

The EA shall provide the full range of high quality executive assistance to the Executive Director and COO. EA shall provide management information support and represent the executive to others. EA responsibilities include personal and administrative management and coordination, liaison with internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to executive outreach, general research and reference work and the lead coordination role within the front office.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with expert level written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree required. MBA degree is a plus.
  • Three years of experience supporting Executive Management, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Proficient in office management and computer skills and Social Media web platforms.
4. Executive - Finance (EF)

Job Summary

EF is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance of the organization’s accounts. EF shall administer all documentation in relation to all receipts and payments of the organization in keeping with the current Finance Policy and Procedures. Additionally, EF shall ensure compliances in respect of various statues relevant to the organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Any degree in the discipline of Finance / Post Graduate in commerce or Accounts with minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience of handling NGO accounts is a plus.
  • Knowledge on Income Tax, TDS, VAT, Service Tax & relevant statutory requirements. Knowledge on secretarial compliances is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge in Tally Software with proficient application of MS Excel and Word computing skills.
  • Effective Communication and Analytical skills.
